Every trade
burns the supply.

Every time someone trades $SOLAR, the fee buys $SOLAR back and burns it. Gone, permanently. So there are fewer coins today than yesterday, and that never runs backwards. The sun up there is the supply — it goes dark as the coins burn. Half of them, and it's a total eclipse.

How it works

Trades pay fees. Fees burn coins.

Four steps, round and round, forever. Nobody decides anything and nobody can skip a step — every one of them shows up on-chain where you can see it.

01

Fees pile up

Every trade pays a small fee in SOL. It just sits there and builds up. No marketing budget, no team cut, nobody dipping into it.

02

We buy it back

That SOL goes straight back into buying $SOLAR — in lots of small chunks at random times, so bots can't see it coming and dump on it.

03

We burn it

Every coin we buy gets sent to the burn address the same day. Not saved, not held, not sitting in a wallet somewhere. Destroyed.

04

The sun dims

Coins burned move the shadow. That sun isn't a drawing — it's the real number. When it goes black, half the supply is gone.

The road to a total eclipse

No roadmap dates. Just supply numbers.

Nobody here is promising you something by Q3. Each stage happens when enough coins are gone, and not one second before.

1%

First bite

The first buyback lands and the first coins hit the burn address. The counter leaves zero and never sees it again.

5,000,000 burned

25%

Quarter gone

125 million coins gone. You don't need us to announce anything — just watch the supply number and it keeps dropping.

125,000,000 burned

60%

Past halfway

This is where it speeds up. The fewer coins left, the bigger a bite each burn takes out of what's still there.

300,000,000 burned

95%

Almost dark

Just a sliver of light left. Under 25 million coins to go before the sun shuts completely.

475,000,000 burned

100%

Total eclipse

Half of every coin that ever existed is gone and the sun is black. And it doesn't stop — the fees keep coming, so the burning keeps going.

12 August 2026 / the namesake

There's a real one happening today.

A total solar eclipse crosses Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain at 17:46:01 UTC on 12 August 2026 — the first totality over mainland Europe since 1999. It is where the name came from, and the tracker below is live.

Questions

What people ask.

What does burning actually do for me?

Your slice gets bigger. If there are half as many coins, the ones in your wallet are twice the share of everything. That happens on its own, you don't have to do a thing, and it can't be undone. That's the deal — it's not a payout and it's not interest.

Where does the SOL come from?

From trading. pump.fun pays us a small fee in SOL on every trade, and all of it goes into buying back and burning. So the more people trade, the faster it burns. Busy week, big burn. Dead week, small burn. That's just how it works.

Do I have to do anything?

Nope. Just hold. It burns whether you're watching or asleep. And there's no airdrop and nothing to claim — so if a site asks you to connect your wallet to claim $SOLAR, it's a scam trying to empty it.

Can I verify the burns?

Yes — and you should. Every buy and every burn is a transaction anyone can pull up. The numbers on this page come straight off the chain, not from us typing them in. If this page ever disagrees with the chain, trust the chain.

What stops you keeping the fees?

Good question, and don't just take our word for it. Watch the fee wallet and watch the burns. If SOL is going in and coins aren't getting destroyed to match, then nothing is stopping us and you should walk. The promise is only worth what the chain shows.

What happens at totality?

Nothing stops. Half the coins are gone and the sun is black, but people keep trading, so the fees keep coming and the burning keeps going into what's left. It's a milestone, not an end date.

Does burning make the price go up?

Not on its own, and anyone promising you that is selling something. Fewer coins helps, but you still need people wanting to buy. What burning does guarantee is that your share gets bigger and that the fees aren't disappearing into someone's pocket.
